Jr Marketing Communication Specialist

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate and develop marketing communication campaigns and activities: work closely with the Marketing Communication Manager and external agencies in developing and producing marketing communication campaigns for the Marktplaats brand in general and the specific business verticals. Strong focus on online, offline and social media channels.

 

Manage creative execution: Work in co-operation with creative agencies and internal designers to create and develop the marketing material. Strong focus on quality control and reviewing of design and copy. Make sure that it is aligned with the Marktplaats brand strategy and campaigns are executed consistently across all channels.

 

Delivery of marketing material: Accountable for delivery of marketing material such as TV- and radio commercials, online advertisement, emails, text links, advertorials and premiums. Work closely with media agencies and internal traffic department for on-site placement.

 

Budgets control and invoicing: Control and manage marketing budget and coordinate and dispatch invoicing of different marketing communication projects and activities.

 

Generic activities: Involvement and support in different marketing communication activities, such as production and delivery incentives, handling of sponsor- and partnership requests, office management and supporting the Marketing Communication Manager.

 

Job Requirements:

 

HBO or University degree in Marketing or Communication

At least 2 years experience in B2C marketing communication (online and offline) in a marketing or communication department, preferable in an e-commerce environment

Experience in project and campaign management; Drawing up and coordinating the production of ABT and BTL campaigns with creative agencies

Has a passion for marketing communication and brands

Relationship management for advertising- and media agencies as well as other external suppliers

Familiar with media buying and social media

Self-starter, results- and detail-oriented, open minded, eager to learn and critical

Proactive, creative, high energy, positive attitude

Ability to handle different tasks at the same time and dealing with tight timelines

Feeling for design and copy and proven text editing skills

Team player; Ability to work well with people from different business units

Fluent in both English and Dutch

Ability to excel in a fast moving, fast changing organization
